This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the First Edition (stated), lacking a dustjacket. Blue decorative cloth binding with the titling and an image of his airplane, the "Spirit of St Louis" in gilt. Clean text; 318 pages. The decorative endpapers also bear the image of his plane. The Foreward is by Myron T. Herrick, the American ambassador to France. Illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs. Bumped on the corners, and a very slight lean. With the blue cloth and gilt so bright, this remains a very attractive book. We accept checks and money orders in US Dollars. Credit card orders are accepted through ABE. California residents must add appropriate sales tax (currently 7.25%). Items are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt (please email or call first before returning item).
