These two books were both written by JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books, under the Wizard author's names of: Newt Scamander [FANTASTIC BEASTS & WHERE TO FIND THEM] & Kennilworthy Whisp [QUIDDITCH THROUGH THE AGES] ~ The books were first sold in March of 2001 and sold out quickly. If you have ever asked yourself where the Golden Snitch came from, or wondered about the evolution of the flying broomstick!, or wanted to study 'Anti-Muggle Precautions', or wanted to know the difference between ancient and modern quaffles: then you will need a copy of this book to find all the answers! Both books have foreward's written by Dumbledore himself! (FAB FUN). ~~ "Fantastic beasts and Where to Find Them" , Resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now, for a limited period only, Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl!" It says on the first page of this book that it belongs to 'Harry Potter', but not for long if you buy it! it'll belong to you. In the introduction to the author 'Newt Scamander, it says that he was born in 1897, which makes him incredibly old! he must be about 114 years old by now. [Crikey!!]. This book tells you about all the different characters you meet all the way through your harry Potter journey: Doxy: [sometimes known as a biting fairy] - [OUCH!], FWOOPER: is an African bird with extremely vivid plumage; orange, pink, lime green or yellow !!, and you will meet a little Gnome which is a little garden pest, and can grow to the amazing height of one foot [12 inches]. Goodness me., or a wee Kelpie!, sounds friendly but he's a real demon ! [EEK! HELP!], and if you're not careful; you might run in to a YETI! [AAARRRGGGHHH!!!] ~ In this little book you will meet all the characters through Harry Potters wizardly travels. You will know all about each of them in great detail as this book is your A to Z of them all. ~ Both "Quidditch Through The Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" have those all important numbers : 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, meaning that these are both TRUE FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTINGS.
