First edition, first impression, first state (with 'serious' spelt 'seriosu' to p.66), presented in a new, professionally produced first-state facsimile dustwrapper. Very Good: tight and square binding in clean magenta cloth; faded to the backstrip; sharp boards; bright gilt; tanned to the edge of the page block; very light, sporadic spotting to the edge of the page block and endpapers, else bright, crisp and clean.
