Full calf leather binding. Spine with five raised bands and red morocco title label. Two ink stains to front board. Small patch of insect damage to rear board. Excellent solid binding. Bookplate has been neatly removed from front pastedown endpaper. Light foxing and offsetting to endpapers. Very clean text throughout. Previous owner's name to title page (dated 1787). ESTC: T55591. Although he had produced several earlier pamphlets, this was Young's first published book on agriculture. It provides a fascinating insight to agricultural economics in the mid-18th century.
