Written by A Mother, the pen name of Esther Copley, an English religious tractarian and a prolific writer of didactic books for children. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with marks to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine as well as the board tips. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting, predominantly to the first and last few pages. Light age toning to the extremities.
