After the title-page, a plate of the Warner & Swasey factory and a short introduction there are 36 leaves of beautifully-rendered images of astronomical instruments and observatories. The text is limited to captions identifying pieces of equipment, names and locations of observatories, etc. Warner & Swasey supplied telescopes, transit instruments, and other instruments to most of the astronomical research sites in the US.
