A two volume collection of first edition novels by Dick Francis. Including his 1998 short story collection 'Field of 13' and his novel 'Second Wind' from the following year, the novels here remain typical of Francis' work set in the world of horse racing but, in the case of 'Second Wind', deviate somewhat from his usual formula in that the protagonist is a meteorologist as opposed to a horse industry professional. In cloth binding with gilt detailing and original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally smart, there is some light markings to the boards and some minor bumping to extremities. The dustwrappers have some very minor rubbing to extremities. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are bright and clean throughout. Near Fine. Seller Inventory # MOD9-A-1
