Describes 728 species occuring in Europe, Central and Eastern Asia. Provenance: with the bookplate of John Emerson Giffith, Oologist and former editor of the Jourdain Society Bulletin, he held a senior post for over 30 years and made multiple trips to Russia. We are taking a break while we re-locate ourselves and business. We move to a peaceful stretch of the River Lynher. We specialise in fine antiquarian and second-hand books with a strong interest in Natural History, particularly the New Naturalist Series.
