1955 first edition, sportsman's book club edition. Size octavo, 272 pages. Red cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, no dust jacket. Condition good, corners and spine ends rubbed, gilt on spine dulled, there is a clear plastic protecting the book though unfortunately a previous owner has used sticky tape to adhere the plastic to the paste-downs and this has browned and there is offsetting to the end-papers, the pages are slightly toned otherwise clean. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
