Some shelf wear and tear to unclipped DJ with splits to spine extremities, corners lightly bumped, some foxing to endpapers and edges of reading block. ; Assumed first edition, first printing as no other printings listed. Undated but assumed late 1950s, Blue cloth boards with silver gilt lettering to spine and motif of sports equipment to front. Nice tight copy, no names inside. DJ artwork uncredited. ; The Fighting Four Series; Vol. 1; 188 pages; Arthur Catherall writing as A R Channel. Adventure story set in World War II. Four men, the rear-guard of a commando team sent to occupied Norway to destroy a hydro-electric power plant, have to fight their way to the coast. In their way are German forces that have been ordered to shoot anything that moves.
