The Film Scripts series is comprised of four volumes - each containing three classic shooting scripts written by some of the finest writers ever to work in Hollywood, including William Faulkner (The Big Sleep), Tennessee Williams (A Streetcar Named Desire), and Gore Vidal (The Best Man). Most of them are final shooting scripts, that is examples of the very form which director cast and crew worked with when a film first went into production. The final shooting script is the first part of the production process but it should be remembered that even in this form script has usually been through many stages already and has been much revise. This book contains the following scripts Darling, A Hard Days Night, and The Best Man.
