First Ed, unstated. Good+: Shows moderate use. Shows considerable wear to the extremities; a small damp spot at the rear panel; Some scuffing at the upper rear panel and faint but pervasive soiling to the cloth-covered boards and the pages are very lightly tanned, due to aging. The former owner's tasteful bookplate at the front paste-down end-paper and he has printed his name in ink at the top edge. Binding remains square and secure; text clean. Overall, despite some wear and dulling due to the ravages of time, remains a strudy, tightly-bound copy with a clean text. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. 134pp. Hardback: Lacks DJ. The purpose of this book was to popularize the science of finger print identification.
