Exterior of the book has bumped head and heel of spine, a very slight lean,; and the top half of the back panel has lost its shine and has rippling of the fabric at the top corner; fore edge has a 2" long brownish stain which affects pages 162-200; the source of the stain is apparent looking at the top edge, which shows rippling in the pages in the last half of the book. The interior, however, is not as bad as the previous observations suggest, The hinges are strong, though the front one has paper tearing over the hinge; the book is intact and complete with frontis + 3; there are no marks or writing in the book; there are water stains in the top at the spine, starting about page 55 but not damaging the text anywhere.
