12mo, unpag. chapbook in marbled wrappers with printed title label, saddle-stitched; extra label tipped in at rear. One of Prokosch's exceedingly scarce "Butterfly Books" that he printed himself on a handpress. This is copy number 3 of just forty-four in the edition, one of the first ten on Geneva paper. Inscribed and signed by Prokosch at the front, with a Christmas greeting signed "Frederic" to Josephine [Crane], the New York socialite and major patron of the arts. Edges ever so slightly rubbed; fine.
