First edition first printing of a near fine hardcover with a small previous owner's name on the front pastedown, and foxing to the textblock, in a near fine dustjacket which has a small notation on the front flap, foxing to the inside, and is price clipped. Featuring Captain Firebrace and his ship the Java Queen on her last voyage carrying cargo worth 100,000 British pounds. Naturally everyone wants it and the adventure begins.
