Offered is Firing Line Program Transcript No. 145 published in 1974 by the Southern Educational Communications Association (SECA) out of Columbia, South Carolina. A left-stapled transcript measuring 5-3/4" by 8-1/2" and containing 24 pages including front and rear covers. The transcript number, in order of telecast, was compiled and maintained by SECA commencing with the program's move to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in 1971 although the number does not appear in the issue. This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped at WQLN in Erie, Pennsylvania, on June 10, 1974, and originally telecast on PBS on July 21, 1974. Hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr., the topic was "Shockley's Thesis"; the guest was Dr. William Shockley, Stanford University professor. The panelists were Juli Loesch, Paul Atkinson, and Johnie Atkinson.
