First edition 1934 with Scribner's A on the copyright page. Green cloth covered boards with bumped tips and spine ends, few light marks on cloth. Endpapers age-toned, no writing, tears or soil seen in the tight, crisp, browned but not brittle, 128pp text. No jacket. Illustrated by Humphrey Dixon with red punctuating highlights throughout. A very useful book that has been in tack trunks for decades. A much sought, easy to understand work on the subject of horse care and remedies for many of the ailments that may arise for the horse owner.
