First Base Jinx, a Mel Martin Baseball Story (A stolen mitt nearly upsets the Westwood Tigers in the amateur loop.) was written by John R. Cooper. The book was published by Books, Inc. in 1952 and appears to be a First Edition but is nowhere stated as such . . . also there is no price on the dust jacket flap. It is NOT an ex-library copy and is in good + to very good condition with yellowing pages and DOES have a dust jacket which is in very good condition. It is 5 1/2" by 7 7/8" and has 191 pages. Thanks for looking.
