This ex-library book from the "Library Association of Stafford (Connecticut)" dated "Feb 27, 1903" and Book "No 2834." Book has some random writing including a former owner with the note "Purchased from Johnson's Book Store Dec 1937." Johnson's Book Store located in the center of Springfield, Massachusetts, was the go-to place for all things books and office from 1893 until it closed in 1997! Johnson's was one of the largest independent booksellers in New England for almost a century! I spent many hours as a youth scanning through their used books personally in the 1970s and 80s. THIS book has some water damage to the inside edges and cover, but is still quite servicable. The pages are high-gloss and resisted staining very well. Hard cover edition. 291 pages. Dimensions: 5.75" by 7.5". Published by Ginn & Company, Publishers, Boston, MA. 1st edition, 1902. B&W illustrations. B&W photographs. Green binding. Cover defect(s): Some fading. If your book/collectible order is heavier, or oversized, or you wish to include insurance, we will verify your order and let you know how much extra shipping is required. International orders usually cost 5x or more than the domestic rate, depending on destination. Due to customs delays, extra payment fees and tracking issues, minimum product orders of $50 are required for all international sales, orders of merchandise totaling under $50 will be canceled.
