This offering is a vintage copy of The First Book of Printing written by Sam and Beryl Epstein and illustrated with three-color illustrations drawn by Laszlo Roth. The book was published by Franklin Watts, Inc. in 1955, and is a stated First Printing. It IS an ex-library copy in good condition (with some light soiling to the back board) and does not have a dust jacket. The book is 7 1/4" by 8 5/8" and has 63 pages with an Index, a " Words Printers Use" section, and four-color illustrations throughout. This is more an adult book than a children's book (eighth grade reading level perhaps) . . . and would make a nice, helpful gift to yourself, or a friend as an introduction to printing. It's in good shape but for some library markings and the fore-mentioned soiling. Thank you!
