A very good copy of the presumed first hard cover edition (no explicit edition or printing statement), lacking a dust-jacket, perhaps as issued. Save for a contemporary gift inscription to the front free endpaper, the text is wholly unmarked, pristine, and the binding still quite bright and fresh in appearance, with minor wear at the extremities. All tipped in photos are present. A sharp copy.
