We Are Everywhere (First Edition, First Printing)

Quite uncommon First Edition, First Printing in hardcover of this notable early 1970s counterculture book. The book features journal writings by YIPPIE leader and Chicago Seven defendant Jerry Rubin that were written while Rubin was held at Cook County Jail in Illinois and smuggled out of the facility. Rubin writes about the infamous Chicago Seven trial as well as commenting numerous matters of the moment such as the Weatherman Underground, Acid, Women's Lib, The Black Panthers, Comix, and opposition to The Man. 256 pages, illustrated with period photos. The dust jacket has a bit of edge wear, otherwise minimal sign of previous use.
