Item description from seller

377 pages. First edition, first printing. Collection of stories which were suggested to Maxwell Perkins by F. Scott Fitzgerald after Lardner died. Preface by Gilbert Seldes. Near fine book with some light fading, mostly to the spine, but much better than usual in a fine dust jacket. A beautiful copy.
