First Lessons in Algebra, Being an Easy Introduction to That Science: Designed for the Use of Academies and Common Schools

This is the ONLY 1834 copy of this first edition book that I can find. There are later 1839 editions, but no other 1834 edition that is available for sale. And as further evidence (other than the copyright date itself), that this is NOT an 1839 edition, there is some beautiful cursive handwriting signed "Cyrus Greene" in ink dated 1835. The brown buckskin leather cover is worn and the cover has detached. The interior of this fine math book has some expected foxing but is age appropriate. Would actually make a wonderful gift for a budding mathematician. As a bonus piece of ephemera, there is a calling card dated 1827 from Kendall Mfg Co in Providence, R.I. (BR) Box 323C.
