True first British printing. No jacket. Illustrations by F. H. Townsend. All fifteen colour illustrations (and associated tissue guards) are present and in very good condition. White boards with (faded) gold lettering to spine and gold lettering/design to front are good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, numerous marks, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's name and location in pen to front end-paper. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops ands bottoms. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/mild foxing. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
