The author is the director of an aquarium. If he had restricted himself to addressing the practitioner involved in running a public aquarium display, young scientists looking for advice on how to use a closed water system, and the advanced fish hobbyist, it would have been easier for the reviewer to praise his book. It is well written. For example, books are carefully packaged frequently using clean cardboard for custom made boxes, recycled paper is used for printed labels and recycled plastic or bubble wrap is used for a weather-proof barrier. I drop the packages off to my local post office via foot or cycle in order to further reduce the carbon footprint.
