no edition or printing stated only copyright date 1955 - 1st, light toning/soiling to edges of text block - light rubbing along bottom edges of boards - toning to front/rear end papers - short inked gift inscription to front free end paper, dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, light toning/soiling with some scuffing to folds - 3 larger chips with two 1/8", two 1/4" and a 3/4" tears with creasing along top edge and 5/8" tear with 3/4" crease to bottom left edge of front panel - scattered scuffing down through right half of rear panel taking away some text - 13/4" wide x 3/4" deep (maximum) piece missing to top edge and chipping/creasing to bottom edge of spine - 1/2" wide x 1/2" deep piece missing to top with a small chip worn to bottom of fold rear panel to flap - chips worn to top/bottom of fold front panel to flap - original price intact, illustrated with drawings and black & white photographs.
