First US Edition. 288pp. Octavo in original blue cloth with illustrations in text from drawings by Louis Darling. Some minor edgewear and spot fading on spine and boards. Dust jacket is price-clipped and shows general shelf wear with some creases, a few closed tears and larger chip at bottom of the spine. Text block is clean and tight. Very good condition. Cave A 134.
