About this Item

1958. With illustrations by Eileen Soper, some with red colouring and some with blue. Pp 182 [2]. A Fine copy in an exceptionally Fine dust wrapper. There are a couple of tiny nicks in the jacket but it would be difficult to find a better copy. There is a neat brown line about half an inch wide on both the front and back free endpapers between where the inner flap of the dust wrapper ends and the inner hinge. When the book is closed there is a tiny gap there (literally the thickness of the dust wrapper) and over time the paper has oxidized. Contents are clean and crisp with no inscriptions. A superb copy.
