Handsome quarto, bound in quarter red morocco over patterned red cloth, gilt lettering on the upper covers with gilt rules on the corners and margin. The spines very handsomely decorated with gilt ruled and tooled compartments between raised bands, gilt lettering in two compartments. Internally some wear to covers and page edges and tanning mainly to end papers. Small repair to reattach loose page. Retains fold out maps in excellent condition. Volumes 1 and 2. Extremely heavy volumes. We currently have all 4 in the set. Seller Inventory # 030062
