In this volume of the memoirs of Sir Harry Flashman, the redoubtable adventurer who appears in battle with General Custer attired in full evening dress and tails, recounts his escapades of "glory" in the Old West. 7th in series. George MacDonald Fraser (1925–2008) was a Scottish author and screenwriter. He is best known for a series of works that featured the character Flashman (the adult version of the bully in Tom Brown's Schooldays). Over the course of his career he wrote eleven novels and one short-story collection in the Flashman series. Hardcover has red cloth boards with cream cloth spine, gold lettering on spine and black design on front cover in a Very Good Dust jacket.
