True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£4.50). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, fading to spine, a few small (approx. 5mms) tears, little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, few marks, one small (approx. 1cm) tear to back, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, minor foxing, minor patchy browning/odd small marks/spots of foxing to reverse (white side), little creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are very good with a little patchy fading (mainly to back), a little pushing/bumping to corners, a few small marks, few small bumps/rubs to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping) to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a bit tanned. Odd small marks/minor foxing to top edge of pages. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spots of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Synopsis

A game of cricket lands Flashman in thrall to a mad barbarian queen in Madagascar in Volume VI of the Flashman Papers. About the Author

The author of the famous Flashman Papers and the Private McAuslan stories, George MacDonald Fraser has worked on newspapers in Britain and Canada. In addition to his novels he has also written numerous screenplays, most notably The Three Musketeers, The Four Musketeers, and the James Bond film, Octopussy.
