In near fine condition. Rare. Kipling's account of the recently strengthened fleet of the British Royal Navy at the turn of the 20th century first appeared as a group of five articles in the Morning Post in November 1898. Allowed to join the Fleet at sea, Kipling here offers an intimate portrait of the ships and their crew.
