FIRST EDITION,1930, 4to.pp.xii (2) 252,25: many illustrations,facsimiles, tipped-in plates & inserts, a very good copy in original buckram of the most splendid & substantial volume of the series with an index to all seven volumes. Spotless cover and pages. Includes; Morrison s First Principles of Typography, Warde on Gill, Koch on Holz, Updyke on Cleland, Ewald on Officina Bondini, Van Krimpen on Typgraphy in Holland; Insert short story by Rose Macaulay, Misfortunes, illustrated by wood engravings by Denis Tegetmeir, and not as stated as by Stanley Morrison, printed in the new Bembo , faint stamps of the Ipswich printer, W.S. Cowell on end paper. A nice clean copy with excellent provenance.
