Book is straight, square, securely bound, faintly and uniformly age toned and, except for light staining along gutter of front pastedown, free of markings, other blemishes and gutter creasing; Cover is clean and bright, with sharp corners and joints, straight headcap, tail, spine, hinges and edges, and boldly legible, crisply distinct lettering and band. Dust Jacket is clipped at top of front flap and age toned, with rubbing and thinning along hinges and wraps, mild chipping and rubbing at corners, chipping and tearing with some loss at top of front panel, bottom of rear panel, and top and bottom of backstrip - none which impair legibility of lettering or clarity of design or Author image.
