143 pages : chiefly color illustrations, portraits ; 29 cm. Squarish 4to. Hardcover. Publisher's original black cloth over boards, lettering blindstamped to spine. Book Condition: salt and pepper bits of wear to extremities, else fine. Interior is pristine, bright and vibrant. Dust Jacket Condition: shelf wear to panels, approx. 2" shark's tooth chunk taken out of rear panel at head of spine. The first 35 pages or so taken up with copiously illustrated introduction by Will Self, then with short interview with the artist after which the next 110 pages are filled with very high quality reproductions of the most extraordinary paintings of flowers. As a gallery owner friend of ours liked to say, Jo Self can really throw the paint around. Seller Inventory # 004615
