The book has very clean covers, old owner name sticker on top of FFEP otherwise no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, a few foxing spots on fore-edge that penetrate a little into the margin of some pages but pages themselves are free of foxing, solid binding. The original dust jacket has minor soiling to covers, some darkening to spine, 3cm tear along lower rear spine crease, small loss at top spine corner and corner tips, The book measures 19cm tall x 13cm and has 199 pages, two color plates of flies (one is the frontispiece), several b/w sketches.
