First Edition, 1841 Condition: Very Good Green boards are solid with blind stamp on front and back cover and gilt title on spine. Board corners and spine have rubbing, shelf wear and some discolouration (see pictures). Text block is solid with uncut fore edge, top and bottom edges are clean and tight. Engravings, front end paper, and frontispiece have darkening and foxing. Despite this, the text pages are very clean, yet are wavy in the mid section. All pages are intact and no tears. A solid copy for its age.
