Full navy blue leather with beveled boards, raised bands on spine with gilt titles & rules plus cover club insignia in gilt; 8vo; 247pp; top edge stained blue; marbled end papers; sewn-in silk book mark; illustrated with chapter head-piece plus text drawings by Roger McPhail; contains a hand-tied streamer fly inset in oval mount on front paste down; plain blue cloth-covered slipcase; limited to 150 numbered (#12) copies. "An anthology drawn from contributions to the Flyfishers' Journal from those who have made a significant contribution to fly fishing through their published writings over the past century." With articles by Halford, Skues, Taverner, Mosely, Pryce-Tannatt, Kite, Venables, Overfield and many others. Spine very lightly tanned (although scanned image makes it appear lighter than actual), otherwise a fine copy in like slipcase.
