First US paperback edition. Originally published in the UK in hard covers by Gollancz in 1968 and then the US by Morrow later in the same year. Published in paperback in the UK by Arrow in 1974. Three inch production wrinkle at the base of the spine. The covers are browned around the edges but otherwise unmarked. Light browning to the insides of the covers and to the pages which have a light odour - probably from the home of a smoker - but are otherwise unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by �1.50 when the order is processed.
