First edition hardcover in linen cloth like paper covered boards which are straight and sharp. Large print edition in 18 pt type. Ex-lib with pocket pulled but all papes present. No call tags or library markings on back strip of book. Unclipped (unpriced) dj in new mylar has one call tag on spine, no chips or tears, but small faint tape marks on flaps. Basketball fiction about Skip Peterson, a 16 yr old boy who has grown too tall too soon and has become so clumsy on the court that he is dubbed the name Footsy by his teammates. When he acts on impulse to accept a stranger's offer to drive a sports car, he not only ends up with a ticket but with the realization that the car was stolen. Footsy is the realistic account of a young man's efforts to come to terms with his responsibilities - even if it means traffic court, ballet lessons, and trying to make friends with Liz.
