After retiring from the Army in 1987, Sam Roberts served 14 years as Chairman of the Ford Y & C Model Register, and continues as Editor of the club magazine. He acquired his first Model Y when he was an engineering undergraduate, and a lifelong interest in the first small Fords was spawned.
