First edition. A Good example of this rare book. Some rubbing to boards and discolouring, some loose bindings inside but otherwise well looked after considering its age. Fores's Sporting Notes & Sketches: A Quarterly Magazine (Volume I, 1884-1885) was the first annual bound volume of a quarterly magazine published by Messrs. Fores of London from 1884 to 1912. The publication featured articles on British and foreign sports, with a particular focus on horse racing, hunting, and fishing.
