True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (15s). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, numerous tears, patchy loss, creasing/rubbing to edges, few marks, patchy browning (including to spine), few spots of foxing, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, odd small mark/browning/odd spot of foxing to reverse (white side), creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners and a little pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Some (quite) major spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's name in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/light foxing to top edge of pages. Pages bit tanned.
