A smart first edition of this lecture on French etchings from British art historian Campbell Dodgson. First edition. With the vanishingly scarce original glassine wrap. Illustrated with a frontispiece and eleven plates. Collated complete. Being a lecture delivered to The Print Collectors' Club on June 21st 1922 by Campbell Dodgson, a British art historian and museum curator who was the Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with minor wear and light fading to the extremities. Original glassine wrap is sound with light wear and creasing to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Very Good Indeed.
