Set of 6 (complete) series "H" Numbered 1-6 coloured postcards with the nursery rhyme "A Frog he would a'wooing go." taken from his successful nursery booklets printed around this time". Believed to have been printed in 1908 (from card that are found postally used.The printing on the reverse is unlike the modern reprints and the ink brown. These were bought in an archive of similar cards bought by Alfred Lenton bookseller of Leicester in the 1960's, well before the silly game of copying and repro were thought of. The printing appears to be litho or woodcut litho. (6). Seller Inventory # 3235

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
