A near fine book without DW. The book is nice, square & tight. The gold embossed lettering on the front & spine is still bright and clear. The top & bottom of the spine are slightly rubbed. The pages are slightly tanned with the foreword edges lightly rough-cut. There are 4 pages of advertisements, all for Edith Wharton's books, at the rear.
