Item description from seller

Single sheet printed on one side only in eight panels, folded concertina style and affixed to card covers, 24mo. 'His speech is technically described in parliamentary language as a "response to an unstarred question during a debate on Victims of Crime." Two or three items in it were picked on by the Press and published out of context. The full text was not printed by Hansard, the Parliamentary Reporters. After being interrupted by Lord Wells-Pestell (who according to one observer only speaks about the nationalisation of model railways), Lord Russell left the Chamber and was prevented from re-entering by the Ushers.' Some inevitable separation at the join but secure, a few unobtrusive spots and marks, the spine tail gently bumped, but Very Good.

Store description

Test Centre Books is an online seller of printed and archival materials, particularly books and periodicals. Founded in 2014, we specialise in the British Poetry Revival, the Mimeograph Revolution, and linguistically innovative poetry, although we retain an interest in the underground arts in general. Twice a year we issue a catalogue of new acquisitions, often devoted to the work of a single author. More information is available on our website.
