Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Binding remains firm. Heavier tanning and mild foxing to front and rear pastedowns and endpapers. Thumb-marking present. Chip to bottom corner of page 131. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. 28 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Small piece missing to the head of the spine. Rub wear to edges. Boards have some scratches. Front endpapers have some scuff marks. A few pages have some words underlined in colour marker or some erased pencil marks. The story of a woods in Canada called the Furry Forest and the bears who live there. The map in the Introduction is reminscent of the Hundred Acres Woods of Pooh fame.
