1956. First Edition. 143 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Binding remains firm. Heavier tanning and mild foxing to front and rear pastedowns and endpapers. Thumb-marking present. Chip to bottom corner of page 131. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
