The book is Very Good with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. There is a split to the joint where the end papers meet at the back of the book, but the binding is tight and not detached from the spine. The pages edges are toned but the interior text is clean except for the odd fox spot on the opening pages. The book has 361 pages including index. The book has black and white photographs throughout and six fold out maps. The title page confirms the publication date of 1934.

Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
